Four year olds program Our four year old children attend four days a week, Tuesday through Friday. There are three classrooms for the four year olds. One downstairs and two upstairs and there are two teachers for each classroom. There are two classes of 18 children and one of 20 children. Parents may choose to send their child from 9:00am to 11:30am or our extended day program 9:00am to 1:00pm. We also offer an additional Literacy program that begins in January and offers two eight week sessions. The program begins at 1:00pm and ends at 2:30pm. There is an additional fee for the Literacy program. For more information you may contact the director. As four and five year olds, children are exposed to a more structured day and a curriculum, which develops naturally from concrete experiences in their daily lives. Our goal is to allow these children to develop initiative through exploring a wide variety of things to do which include the opportunities to create and play, to imagine and wonder, to care and to share, and to help each child grow to their best ability. |
